The Valla Beach Community hold a market festival on the first Saturday of every second month (next being 6th December), focusing on home made and grown local produce in food, arts, crafts and fantastic musical talent. The event runs from 8am to 2pm in the beautiful landscaped grounds of the Valla Community Preschool, just east off the Pacific Highway on Valla Beach Road, Valla Beach, a serene and peaceful seaside village.
The valley’s community groups such as WIRES, Nambucca Valley Conservation, Valla Fire Brigade, Headspace Nambucca Youth and 2NVR Community Radio also participate to spread the good word and valuable work they carry out in the area. Talented local musicians play throughout the day, (next market – Lea Gillard & Paul Clement) creating a wonderful relaxing vibe to the venue. A selection of food and drinks are available along with over 50 quality stalls. The market is an initiative of the Valla Beach Urban & Hall Management Committee to raise money for the protection, repairs and positive growth of Valla Beach along with creating an avenue for networking and bringing the community together for good times and great bargains. Cruise along for a fun day and good vibe of diversity and spirit down by the sea. The market is proudly supported by local businesses, the Nambucca Shire Council and 2NVR Community Radio 105.9fm.
