Most people would like to cut costs on communications, or at least believe they have the best deal for their needs. Check out these three offers to see what can be saved, by mixing some of the best offers available.

1. This option works on VOIP broadband [not satellite broadband though]. GoTalk at www.gotalk.com.au offer their 'goVOIP AussiePack' for $14.95 per month. You get 300 local calls, 300 national calls and 8.33 hours to mobiles! If you wish to use your existing phones in the house, you will need an ATA box [Gotalk $99]. 3. Have you heard of ANI Callback? NO? The following refers to www.pennytel.com How Callback works, is that you ring a number [the system] in Sydney. The system never answers and the call costs you nothing. Once you end the call, the system rings you and asks you for the number, you wish to call. You are then connected! You will be charged for the call to you and the call you make, ie two parts to the cost. Here is a brief rundown of the costs shown as of 25/06/08:

Timed Calls:     Landline 2 Landline      Per Min .016 cents

                        Landline 2 Mobile         Per Min .105 cents

Example: You call a mobile from your home landline 0.016+.105 = .12 cents per min. 

Untimed Calls  Landline 2 Landline     .16 cents

                       Landline 2 Mobile or Mobile 2 Landline    .46 cents

                       Mobile 2 Mobile .76cents 

The untimed plan is a great way to call any other mobile and for only 76cents untimed! 

The pennytel site is not the easiest to navigate or find what you are looking for, it takes time! The 'ANI Callback' is part of the pennytel 'Talk Till U Drop' Plan, especially created for those people that do not have internet access, or wish to use the services whilst being mobile. Check out their FAQ. A callback system is easily used overseas, as you only need to be able to accept incoming calls on the mobile or landline.
