 FIRSTLY, I'm a newbie to the Nambucca Area, having bought land at Taylor's Arm. So hello to all my new neighbours! There, that's news, isn't it?! :) I love all things alive (mostly) - garden, animals, even people (!). I am a duck advocate, having formerly been involved in duck rescue and rehoming them as pets. I have a dozen now, which are mostly the rescues that I decided to keep for myself when I left my old home. They are intelligent, loving and relatable - but most people don't know that, like I didn't once upon a time. I'm looking for short term rental for the animals and me while I build my dwelling. I'm single-again, but not lonely; caring but not a pushover.
 MY MAIN NEWS ITEM is that last week, my daughter returned from Malaysia with an award under her belt as Best New Singer, after having been invited to attend the World Song Quest, requiring her to write then sing her own songs. I've trained and encouraged her to fulfill her artistic talents, and she has done us all proud, both her family and Australia, as she was OUR female representative!
