On Saturday the 22nd of November 2008 Valla Beach Resort Village residents will hold their annual Art and Craft Fair. 

The residents have held this event for the last few years and are excited to be able to display their many talents again this year.

Meet METTAPHOR, a dynamic female musical duo with a big, bold, beautiful, brilliant sound. A fusion of live luscious vocals, sublime saxophones and acoustic guitar over loopz n beatz deliver a fresh mighty sound sharing the universal language of love and groove. Classified in the "nu-jazz" genre Mettaphor incorporate funk bop, folk, jazz and alternative sounds with a clear and meaningful message.

"Shine a Light" is a film about the everlasting Rolling Stones. Director Martin Scorsese has  filmed and directed two of their concerts. In them, the Stones are eternally youthful and fit, and seem to keep going because of their obvious love of music. This film is a winner, and also features a visiting guest – Christine Aguilera. The Stones music and moves are as good as ever. This film is well worth seeing.

Bowraville Theatre Players are presenting a season of ‘Once upon a Time’, a family Pantomime to entertain the whole family. Shows are on Sunday the 29th June, 2008, and the 12th, 13th and 20th July. All shows commence at 2pm at the Bowraville Theatre, tickets are $5.00, available at the door, or bookings at the office Monday to Friday between 10am and 1pm, or ring 65 647 808 between those hours.
