"Shine a Light" is a film about the everlasting Rolling Stones. Director Martin Scorsese has  filmed and directed two of their concerts. In them, the Stones are eternally youthful and fit, and seem to keep going because of their obvious love of music. This film is a winner, and also features a visiting guest – Christine Aguilera. The Stones music and moves are as good as ever. This film is well worth seeing.

Bowraville Theatre Players are presenting a season of ‘Once upon a Time’, a family Pantomime to entertain the whole family. Shows are on Sunday the 29th June, 2008, and the 12th, 13th and 20th July. Internet Technology And What's Available

Currently, I am using dial-up internet, the maximum of which is 31.2kbps. It occasionally goes down to around 12, depending on traffic.
I have had this blessing for the 6 months or so that I have lived here in the mountains, and after having had broadband when I was in the city, it causes much frustration - but I'm still glad I've got it.

ImageAustralian Numbat population decimated.

The Numbat is a beaut little marsupial that has all but been wiped out, with only a few left in small areas south of Perth. We probably couldn't pinpoint the exact damage its demise has done to the ecology of our area, but surely it hasn't gone unnoticed that we have a termite problem?
